PC-Cillian Firewall

Steps to enable Firewall for ‘Outlook Messenger’ on PC-Cillian Firewall
  • 1. Run PC-Cillian.
  • 2. Open the Main Console window.
  • 3. Click Network Security then Personal Firewall to open the Personal Firewall settings window.
  • 4. PC-cillin Internet Security allows you to change the firewall settings for each type of profile. Choose a profile in the Manage profiles box then click the Edit button from the profile list.
Note: While checking for firewall settings, it is good to verify that Messenger is enabled through each profile. It is also recommended to keep the Automatically switch to the appropriate profile option checked so that PC-cillin Internet Security will automatically choose the correct profile depending on the type of Internet connection you are using.
